The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Yuma, Arizona is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. No written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation 20049735 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37 The U. S. Border Patrol has a requirement for service of ten Kardex Lektrievers seven (7) units at 4035 S Avenue A, Yuma, Arizona, three (3) units at 4151 S Avenue A, Yuma Arizona (see attachment for serial numbers) Contract period from date of award to September 30, 2010 (base year). Contractor will provide a price for base year and four (1) years options. The following clauses/provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items.
