The City of Vernon is soliciting competitive proposals to secure the advice and assistance of a Consultant in developing and executing effective legislative, administrative, and regulatory strategies to protect and advance the City of Vernon’s interests relative to proposed State legislation, administrative and regulatory issues. The City will select one firm, based on demonstrated competence and a cost effective approach to represent and advocate on behalf of the City and its diverse public services, including Public Health and Environmental Control, Public Utilities: electric, natural gas, water and fiber optic services. Responding firms or individuals are encouraged to present a comprehensive array of services which the firm or individual is capable of delivering relative to the subjects addressed in this Request for Proposals, as well as billing schedule/fees for services rendered. The initial term of engagement is for up to three years.
