This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Contract Action. Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to award a sole source contract to Accenture National Security Services LLC - The George Group, 11951 Freedom Drive, Reston, VA 20190. This action is for Senior Level Program Management and a Program Coordinator for training and support services to the MCSC for deployment of Lean Six Sigma methodologies. The Contractor will facilitate the successful execution of the design phase for on-going support of system deployment. An individual statement of work detailing the specific tasking will guide the performance of each effort. The determination not to compete this proposed contract is on the basis of the need for a certified Black Belt instructor for training of Command personnel. The Contractor must possess working knowledge and background of MCSC. MCSC would incur significant costs and man hours to train another source on the Command's business processes and o! rganization structure and mission. Additionally, time delays would be incurred if this project is not initiated and completed within the required period of performance. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice; whether or not the Government will initially determine that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the requirement.
