THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The Natick Soldier Systems Center (NSSC) located in Natick, Massachusetts is requiring the integrity of water distribution systems to be evaluated via a Leak Detection Exploration. On the NSSC are separate potable and non-potable water distribution networks. Water in the potable system is supplied by the Town of Natick while the non-potable system is supplied by treated water from an on-site groundwater treatment plant and supplemented with the Town of Natick system as demand requires. The potable system consists of approx. 11,000 linear feet (LF) of water main of various diameters and the non-potable water distribution system consists of approx. 9,200 lf. The required effort will include an initial detection exploration of the system hydrants, valves and distribution main followed by the pin-pointing of any leaks detected.

Site visit will be held on September 17, 2019 at 11:00 at the NSSC, Natick, MA.  Contractors wishing to attend must submit the access request (document inlcuded with solicitation) to the Protection Division in accordance with the instructions listed in the Performance Work Statement.

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 541360 with a Small Business Size Standard of $15 Million.
