LINN-BENTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE LBCC BENTON CENTER NORTH REMODEL PROJECT Proposals Due 2:00 pm, October 1, 2019 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP NO. P203-01 Sealed responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for providing Construction Management/General Contractor Services (CMGC) for the LBCC Benton Center North Remodel Project, a complete building and site remodel, in Corvallis of Oregon, will be accepted by Dave Henderson, or his designee, Sarah Brightman, Calapooia Center, Room CC-130, 6500 SW Pacific Blvd., Albany, Oregon 97321, until, but not after the hour of 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The submittals will be recorded at that time and a list of responders prepared. RFP documents are available on LBCC Purchasing website https://www.linnbenton.edu/faculty-and-staff/college-services/business-office/purchasing/. RFP documents may also be obtained from the Purchasing Department, via email at bright [email protected], prior to the proposal due date and time noted above. Office hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at 10:30 AM at the subject site: 931 NW Reiman Avenue, Corvallis, Oregon 97330. All responses to the RFP submitted shall contain a statement as to whether the responder is a resident or non-resident entity, as defined in ORS 279A.120. Each responder shall comply with Equal Opportunity requirements and provide Work er's Compensation Insurance for its employees as per ORS 656.029. All subject employers working under the contract are either employers that will comply with ORS 656.017 or employers that are exempt under ORS 656.126. This Request for Proposal will be considered a contractual document which defines, but does not limit the contractual obligations of the firm, and must be signed by a signatory of the business with authority to enter into such an agree ment. That signature does not bind the College to any agreement until such time as a contract for CM/GC services is perfected. No submitted RFP response may be with drawn prior to the time the College completes all contracts for the subject services. LBCC will not be liable in any manner for expenses incurred by the responder(s) in response to this request. The Board of Education of Linn-Benton Community College may waive any or all informalities and irregularities, may reject any RFP response not in compliance with all prescribed public procurement proce dures and requirements, and may reject for cause at any point prior to perfecting a contract for the services requested in the RFP any or all proposals upon a finding of the College that it is in the public interest to do so.
