The Maritime Administration is seeking a long term layberth site to safely moor the United States Merchant Marine Academy vessel KINGS POINTER. The geographic area of consideration is all navigable waterways that can safely accommodate the transit and maneuvering of the subject vessel within an approximate 30 mile radius from the schools location in the New York City metropolitan area.
Required services are electric, water, sewage hookup (IAW local regulation), telephone, recycling capability, high speed internet, and unrestricted access for faculty, cadets, and contractors.
