The purpose of this Market Survey / Sources Sought is to obtain information on the availability of large computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathes to support gun tube production at Watervliet Arsenal (WVA), and the compatibility of commercially-available lathes from various manufacturers with those already in use at the installation.

WVA is attempting to determine if it can realize a lifecycle cost savings through the standardization of its production CNC lathe fleet, potentially by replacing one or more of its aging non-Tacchi lathes with Tacchi-branded lathes compatible with those already installed at the facility.
