The proposed contract action is for Foreign Military Sales for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, CAGE: 04939, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as supplemented by FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for a basic 12 month period of performance and will include two (2) options with a period of performance of 12 months each. The total period of performance is 36 months.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
