LANDLINE PHONE SERVICES FOR G03 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for the procurement of Wired Telephone Service under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR 13.5. BIA's primary goal(s) for the contractor is to continue landline telephone service. Service is needed in order to conduct business through communications. The period of performance will be a one year base with an additional 2 option years. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 517311. Any capability statements, proposals, or quotations received by 5 JAN 2018 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
