STATEMENT OF WORK
LAKE MENDOCINO CAMPGROUND ATTENDANT
KY-EN CAMPGROUND â SCHEDULE A & B
1.1 WORK LOCATION: The Ky-en Campground is located at the north end of Lake Mendocino, approximately 5 miles north of the city of Ukiah, California, and about 3 miles from the Park Office (Lake Mendocino headquarters). The campground consists of 103 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern poles. There are four restrooms, an entrance station, a sewage dump station, and an amphitheater. The total distance for one complete tour of the campground is 3.1 miles.
1.2 ORIENTATION MEETING AND TRAINING: All Campground Attendant (Contractor) personnel are required to attend training sessions at the Park Office and job site throughout the term of the contract. The purpose of the training will be to learn the correct way to operate the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS) computer system, review work procedures, policies, regulations and site conditions, issue accountable and expendable Government furnished property, and to answer any questions for the Contractor.
1.3 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Work will begin ASAP and end on 30 Sept, 2008.
1.3.1 OPTION YEARS: This contract contains two, one-year options. A decision to exercise an option year or not, may be based on performance, funding levels, workload, and work conditions. The Government may exercise the right not to renew a contract when it is in the Governmentâs best interests.
