The Federal bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source Blanket Purchasing Agreement to Lafayette Instrument, 3700 Sagamore Pkwy N., Lafayette, Indiana 47904-1066, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source Available.  The FBI is requesting the Blanket Purchasing Agreement to allow for the purchase of Lafayette Instrument accessories for the Polygraph Program's current inventory of polygraph chairs as stated in attachment I of this special notice.

Lafayette Instrument is the sole manufacturer and authorized federal vendor for the listed parts, in the United States.  There are no compatible polygraph accessories, available, from any other manufacturer.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities to respond to this requirement to this office by 10:00 A.M., EST, Friday February 20, 2015, via email to [email protected].  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  This Blanket Purchasing Agreement will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Parts 12 and 13.  All contractors anticipating award must be registerd in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
