TITLE: BPA For Detrital zircon U/Pb, Hf, and T/REE analyses for rock and modern sediment samples The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for Detrital zircon U/Pb, Hf, and T/REE analyses for rock and modern sediment samples. Analyses shall be performed by the Contractor or USGS staff at the Contractor facility, as specified by task order. The contractor shall perform all U-Pb geochronologic analysis following the protocols outlined in Gehrels et al. (2006, 2008) and Sundell et al. (2020), and Hf isotope geochemistry following the protocols reported in Cecil et al. (2011) and Gehrels and Pecha (2014). Refer to the Performance Work Statement, Section B.5. of the RFQ. This shall be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Firm Fixed-Price Calls/Orders, for a five-year period. The total value of the BPA shall not exceed $425,000. The acquisition is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and competed using full and open competition. For reference, the NAICS code is 541380, Testing Laboratories. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to Government based on technical capabilities/expertise, past performance and price.
