United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) will be hosting an âUSJFCOM Focused Forumâ on Friday, May 21, 2004 (0830-1130). The meeting will be held at the Chesapeake Conference Center, 900 Greenbrier Circle, Chesapeake, Virginia (http://www.chesapeakeconference.com/). Focused forums provide the command an opportunity to disseminate information to industry, academia, and government agencies on a specific joint warfighting need. This forum will focus on the technical challenges and methods for transferring technology and expertise into the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC). Attendees will receive unclassified presentations on the JNTC Advanced Training Technology Laboratory. The Laboratoryâs mission is to evolve tools, processes, and products for the JNTC by acting as the technology pipeline in support of joint training for the warfighter. This laboratory will act as a lens concentrating on research and development of technologies that will enhance capabilities in JNTC technical focus areas. Agenda includes training technology presentations/discussion on: 1) Background on JNTC (Processes, Standards & Architecture), 2) Advanced Training Technology, 3) C4I Technical Roadmap, 4) Joint Instrumentation/After Action Report Roadmap, 5) OPFOR Technology Roadmap, 6) Info Technology/Knowledge Management Roadmap, and 7) Live-Virtual-Constructive Simulation Roadmap.
