In accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(2) as implemented in FAR 6.302-2, ?Unusual and Compelling Urgency,? the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter issue a source modification to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, to modify Contract N00019-05-C-0045 to provide continued persistent Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) services for a contingency deployment in direct support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the Global War on Terror. The requirements of the contingency deployment required the rapid insertion of new technology in support of urgent warfighter UAV ISR. It is estimated the UAV ISR support will last approximately seven months. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only.
