Produce and ship genetically modified mice (6 males and 6 females), along with wild type littermate controls (6 male and 6 female) that are knocked out for the BDNF-A/S gene throughout the body (homozygous KO Line), along with relevant health reports and genotyping protocols. Maintain this KO line at Ozgene for up to 6 months. Cross heterozygous conditional BDNF-A/S mice (generated under previous contract) with Flp recombinase expressing mice in order to remove the FRT-flanked neomycin gene from the previously targeted BDNF-A/S alleles.
