The Wildlife Health Center is a multidisciplinary program within the School of Veterinary Medicine at U.C. Davis that focuses on the health of free-ranging and captive terrestrial and aquatic wild animals. It is the umbrella organization under which faculty, staff, students, and other partners come together to address the complex issues surrounding conservation in a changing world. An affiliated faculty member of the Wildlife Health Center was an author of the "Killer Whale Necropsy and Disease Protocol" and the center has unique capabilities to assist in killer whale stranding response coordination. The Wildlife Health Center also includes the Oiled Wildlife Care Network and has expertise in responding to stranding situations associated with oil spills.
The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with the period of performance commencing approximately September 9, 2013 through August 31, 2014 with two (2) one (1) year option periods. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611310 with a corresponding size standard of $25.5Mil.
