1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The AMC Specialized Contracting Branch intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This solicitation is subject supply to be awarded on a sole source firm fixed price basis pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334220 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. The solicitation number for this announcement is Request for Quote (RFQ) FA4452-17-R-0061. Incorporated provisions and clauses in this combined synopsis/solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-95, effective: 19 Jan 2017.

2. It has been determined that there is Brand Name Only Requirement and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The terms and conditions and specific requirements are outlined in this request with attachments.

3. This RFQ in no way obligates the Government for any costs incurred by the contractor for this Requirement. The Government reserves the right not to award a purchase order in response to this RFQ. Prior to commencement of any activities associated with performance of this requirement, the Government will issue a contractual document signed by the Contracting Officer (CO) with appropriate consideration established.
