The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Software Section (DITCO/PL8322), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to General Dynamics C4 Systems for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only notice.

This acquisition, for Defense Information Systems Agency - NS, is to procure eight TACLANE-Micro Encryptor (KG-175D) with a five year hardware/software warranty and help desk support.  The proposed contract action is for a one-year period. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a). Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform to [email protected].  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within three days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
