NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This publication serves as notice of intent to procure bridge permits for the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, on a sole source basis, with: Rowcon Service, Inc., BOX MXY 51, Glennallen, Alaska, 99588-8998. The required permits allow fire crews to access the Kennecott River Bridge which is owned and operated by Rowcon Service Inc. Bridge permit needed to transport crews and supplies across Kennecott River for Hazardous Fuels Reduction projects in the McCarthy area. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the value of the contract is expected to be under $5,300.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. The permit will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Supply in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
