Synopsis:
This J&A approved a ceiling increase in the amount $482,000,000 to competitively awarded, small-business set-aside Contract W58RGZ-09-D-0130 to Science and Engineering Services, Inc., CAGE: 4Q232. This contract supports modification efforts to Army aviation managed systems and the associated logistics support. Under this scope of work, the LSF contractor performs all efforts associated with modification of Army aviation managed systems. This includes non-recurring engineering efforts associated with integrating new capabilities, and the production and installation of modification kits. The ceiling increase was necessary in order to allow continued performance of requirements in support of the war fighters while the follow-on contract is completed. Award of the follow-on is anticipated in June 2012.
