INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Ithaka Harbors, Inc. - SS-CFPB-14-0102 The Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service), on behalf of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), intends to contract with Ithaka Harbors Inc. - 2 Rector Street, 18th Floor - New York, NY 10006 on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, for continuation of JSTOR seven (7) Arts and Sciences Collections. Ithaka Harbors Inc. has been identified as the only source capable of providing the required content in an arrangement that suits the needs of the CFPB. JSTOR is vital in allowing CFPB the ability to access this information from a single vendor package in a bundled suite of information. The identified contractor, Ithaka Harbors Inc., is currently the only identified source for this access. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received by September 22, 2014 @ 3:00 pm ET. The name and location of your company, contact information, and identify your business size (Large Business, Small Business, Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HUBZone, etc.). DUNS Number. 3. Specific details of the product(s) that your company offers in regards to this notice and how it meets or exceeds the JSTOR products. 4. Whether your products are available through a Government contract vehicle or Open Market. 5. A brief capabilities statement (not to exceed 5 pages) that includes a description of your company's standard line of business, as well as a list of customers your company currently provides the content to. The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered: .bat, .cmd, .com, .exe, .pif, .rar, .scr, .vbs, .hta, .cpl, and .zip files. Microsoft Office and Adobe compatible documents are acceptable. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
