The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a modification to Contract N00024-17-C-6327 for technical and engineering support efforts for depot repair and the integration of Technology Insertion Elements associated with Joint Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (JCREW) Increment One Block One. The estimated period of performance of this contract action is February 2019 through September 2022.

Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), the Government intends to award this contract modification on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGS) in Herndon, Virginia. NGS is currently producing the JCREW Increment One Block One under NAVSEA Contract N00024-17-C-6327. Therefore, it is the only firm with the requisite expertise, experience, and knowledge capable of satisfying the Governments requirements within the requisite schedule. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
