The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) located in Washington DC has a requirement for "feasibility for a viable application method for materials to use on US Banknotes for the blind and visually impaired". This shall be a sole source award made to The Technology Partnership (TTP) of Melbourn Hertfordshire, United Kingdom (UK).

The BEP anticipates a FAR part 13 type contract which will be firm fixed price.

The Technology Partnership (TTP) shall produce printing technology and associated proprietary materials will be evaluated to determine its potential feasibility for providing meaningful access to the blind and visually impaired community. TTP has developed proprietary technology and as such TTP claims proprietary ownership of the process.
