The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award the purchase of "Active Ingredient in a security feature and a feature measurement system" to SICPA Securink Corporation. The purchase will be made under FAR part 12.

This acquisition will be made under a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) as there is only one responsible source. The JOFOC is per FAR part 6.302-1.

This activity is to identify, develop, and recommend new and emerging security feature technology for US currency application. The activity is based on a unique proprietary technology for which SICPA Securink Corporation is the sole originator and developer.
