The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award "Annual Renewal of Brocade Maintenance and Support for the SAN CX500 located in the BEP's Fort Worth, TX Facility" to Brocade. The period of performance is from 07/19/2010 through 07/18/2011. This is being made per FAR part 6.302-1.

This renewal includes:
Telephone, email, and web support for all issues 24X7
24 hour access to Brocade file center
2 authorized technical contacts
Software maintenance and new version updates
24X7 online web supports

This hardware is the classic McData 1620 hardware which by definition is a FC to GigE converter, in that it converts the FC to GigE for transmission across the WAN to another 1620 who then converts it back to FC for the device. McData 1620 is the proprietary product of Brocade.

This will be a sole source acquisition made directly to Brocade. Attached to this notice is a copy of the Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC).
