The Contractor must provide workshop training and content geared toward adult job seekers and career transitioners focused on job search strategies. Workshops must be offered monthly. Occasionally, workshops may be offered more than once a month. Monthly job searching workshops must be presented virtually, initially. This delivery method may switch to in-person later. In-person workshops will be held within Montgomery County, MD and the specific addresses will be designated by the Contract Administrator. The primary objective of the workshop is to teach adult participants how to conduct successful job searches. MCPL prefers workshop to not exceed a total of 2 hours in length. Specifically, workshops must cover: Gaining career clarity, Identifying appropriate job boards, Researching jobs and organizations, Identifying growth sectors, Framing past experiences for future roles, Preparing keyword-rich, targeted resumes, and, Building and leveraging professional and personal networks.
