This announcement is to Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns that may be interested in performing a contract for the Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation. The work to be performed is described below. Based upon response to this announcement, the Government may determine to set this acquisition aside or proceed with an unrestricted solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 and the related small business size standard is $14M. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is more than $3,000,000.00. This procurement will require 100% performance and payment bonds. The principle components of work for the JF Carr Penstock Relining include:Remove and dispose of existing coatings from the interior of the penstocks at J.F. Carr Powerhouse and prepare the interior of the penstocks for recoating between station 569+36.58 and station 573+12.00. Coat the interior for the above stations. Perform spot coating at various locations. Clean and recoat the underside of both penstocks 1 and 2. It is anticipated that award of the work will occur before September 30, 2009. The performance period will extend through May 2011.
