The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award for the provision of Jewish Spiritual Services for the Federal Correctional Complex, located in Victorville, California. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contractor shall provide Jewish Spiritual Leader services for the inmate population in a correctional setting for the Religious Services Department at FCC Victorville. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are 96 sessions per year. A session is defined as one hour. The contractor will conduct services not to exceed 2 hours per week. The contractor will normally work, on a scheduled day determined by the Religious Service Department, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., include a 30- minute unpaid lunch break. The selected contractor must be a member in good standing with a recognized Jewish Community and have extensive experience serving as a Jewish Spiritual Leader for a Jewish Congregation. The contractor's applicants must possess an ordination certificate or like document showing the contractor is a recognized clergy or spiritual leader in good standing with the faith community. The contractor will provide Jewish spiritual leader services in accordance with Bureau of Prison policy.
