Sealed bids from pre-qualified contractors shall be accepted until 1:00 pm, prevailing time on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the Town of Jericho Municipal Offices located at 67 VT Route 15, Jericho, VT 05465 for construction of the project hereinafter described. Bid opening will occur immediately after the bid submittal deadline. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to emergencies or unforeseen conditions. LOCATION: Beginning on Browns Trace Rd (TH #1) at the intersection with Pratt Road (TH #23), and extending approximately 1,800 ft northerly of along the east side of Browns Trace Road to the intersection with Ethan Allen Road (TH #2). TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project the construction of a bituminous concrete shared use path. The work will include: grading, subbase, paving, construction of a dry laid stone wall, storm drain piping, signs and other highway related items. CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The contractor shall commence work as soon as weather permits on or about May 1, 2020. The Final Completion date for all work under this contract is September 4, 2020.
