Notice of Award This Synopsis is posted to announce the award of contract number N00168-12-P-5881. Announcement: The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of Maxillofacial Department is issuing this notice of award of sole source procurement basis under urgent and compelling circumstance for supply of White Dental Gold. The contract is awarded on the basis of best value as primary and price as secondary factors of award. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The contract award is made using SAP.
