1.0 Purpose of this RFI
This Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain information from interested vendors for the Joint Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System JCCQAS project.

2.0 Background
The JCCQAS project is to develop and map Department of Defense (DoD)/Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requirements, prepare the environment, and develop a prototype system to enable DoD and VA to uniformly manage a single interagency system.

3.0 Existing Applications
The JCCQAS application will use the existing Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS) as the foundation for the future interagency system which the DoD and VA will use for all credentialing and privileging activities. CCQAS is a mature platform currently used by all Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment facilities. Because the existing CCQAS (DoD) technical solution is not scalable and does not have the technical capacity to accommodate the large number of records associated with an interagency system, the CCQAS environment will be prepared (converting existing CCQAS code base from classic Active Server Page (ASP) code into .NET) to support the JCCQAS prototype.
