Regional Healthcare Contracting Office - Central, intends to award a sole source contract with BioFire Defense, LLC. BioFire Defense, LLC is the only source that can provide instruments and reagents for the Joint Biological Agent Identification and Diagnostic System (JBAIDS) which is used for biological agent diagnostic and detection systems. Award will be made on or about 1 August 2019. The NAICS code 334516, size standard is 1,000. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Questions by phone or fax will not be considered. A determination by the government to not compete based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
