Pre-solicitation Notice: 

The Defense Logistics Agency - Troop Support has a requirement for the supply of Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine (JEV), NSN 6505-01-607-7018.  The vaccine shall be purified, inactivated, for administering to persons 17 years of age and up; shall be derived from Vero Cell culture and free of preservatives; shall be supplied as a sterile 0.5 ml suspension in a pre-filled syringe with a plunger stopper.  Other specification data will be included in the solicitation.

 The proposed contract will consist of a base year plus four, one year option periods.

 The successful contractor shall have FDA approval to sell JEV before award of the contract.

 The estimated annual requirement is 55,000 doses.  The actual requirement per year might be more.

A requirements contract is proposed.  All DoD requirements will be placed on contract. The quantities indicated are annual estimates only.  The term of the contract is anticipated to include a base year with four annual option periods. 

 Ordered quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Depot New Cumberland PA.  Delivery will usually allow 120 days between date of delivery order and delivery to the depot.   

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
