The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a requirement to provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material necessary to provide Janitorial services under a Performance Based Service contract at the National Weather Forecast Office (WFO), 10009 General Mahone Highway, Wakefield, VA 23888. The period of performance of this Contract is for a base period and four (4) option periods.

This is a 100% Small Business set-aside and intended for award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The applicable NAICS Code is 561720 - Janitorial Services, which has a corresponding size standard $16.5 million. This is a best value, competitive requirement. The Award will be made to the quoter whose quote meets all Performance Work Statement (PWS) and solicitation requirements and is judged to be the best value, by an integrated assessment of price and other evaluation factors listed in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated award date is February 2014. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFQ, Statement of Work, and all subsequent amendments. To be eligible for award, quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov; qutoers must also obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and provide it with the quote. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
