This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Janitorial services on the Morehead Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest, in Morehead, Kentucky. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment and supplies to provide janitorial services at the Stanton Work Center. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, instructions, and commercial practices in accordance with the Solicitation Provisions, Contract Clauses, Technical Specifications, and Attachments.

This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this project. The solicitation is issued under Solicitation No. 12443921Q0001 and incorporated provisions, clauses and attachments are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04 dated 01/15/2020.

This is 100 percent set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 561720 and the small business standard is $19.5 million.

The Government anticipates the award of one (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract as a result of this solicitation.

The evaluation factors for award and instructions to quoters/offerors are included in the attached solicitation.

Work on this contract is expected to commence on January 3, 2022 and continue through December 31, 2022 for the initial base year period. There are four (4) additional option years which, if exercised by the Government, extend the period of performance through December 31, 2026.
