1. Scope of Work: Janitorial Services including vacuuming floors, emptying wastebaskets & recycle baskets and place in proper containers, clean bathrooms including floors, toilets, sinks & mirrors. Clean finger marks from doors, clean out cobwebs, dust furniture. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals.
2. Background: The Darrington Ranger Station is the main office for up to 20, year-round personnel and up to 45 personnel during the field season of April 1 – October 31. The main office and the bathroom facilities in the Carpenter Shop need to be maintained in a satisfactory condition and present a clean neat and professional appearance.
3. Technical Requirements / Tasks: Clean all hand and finger marks from the main office glass entrance door; Clean cobwebs from ceilings, air vents and wall corners; Dust top of desks, tables, legs, and seats of chairs. Dust all visible surfaces of furniture, fixtures, equipment, walls, windowsills, and blinds; Clean finger marks and smudges from walls, woodwork, and glass surfaces, including inside surfaces of windows and doors. Use appropriate cleaner as needed; Empty all wastebaskets; Vacuum all floors, including corridors and entrances to the extent necessary to remove litter from the floors, and dust from under the desks. Spot-clean soiled areas on carpet with appropriate cleaner as necessary.

5. Government Furnished Supplies: The Government will provide supplies to the Contractor for use in the performance of this contract. These supplies shall be used and maintained by the Contractor in accordance with the provisions of the “Government Property” FAR clause contained in the contract. The following supplies will be furnished by the Government and provided to the Contractor as needed. 1) Toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap, light bulbs, and two vacuum cleaners. 2) As needed, cleaning powder, waxes, polish, glass cleaning liquid, floor cleaning liquids, brushes, mops, brooms, dust cloths and sprays. 3) Dumpsters for refuse and recycling. 4) Keys, codes and cardlock keys. Access after hours is via a locked gate and doors have keys, codes and cardlock keys.
6. Work Standards: The Contractor shall exercise care in work methods to prevent damage to any office equipment, windows, etc. All work under their contract shall be performed in a skillful manner. The Contracting Officer may, in writing, require the Contractor to remove from work any employee the Contracting Officer deems incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable for theft, possession and/or removal of materials, supplies, equipment, or any Government-owned property, or for unsatisfactory performance. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct, appearance, integrity and shall be responsible for taking such disciplinary action with respect to their employees as may be necessary. The Contractor shall prohibit their employees from disturbing paper on desks, opening desk drawers or cabinets, or using telephones or office equipment provided for official Government use.
