NOTICE OF INTENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2 intends to solicit and award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance/repairs Roche Ventana HE 600 automated stainer and associated accessories, to Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague Rd, Indianapolis 46256-1025. In accordance with 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106(b)(2)(i): Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract anticipated effective date is March 15, 2024. The department of Pathology and Laboratory medicine services at James J. Peters VA Medical Center,130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx NY 10468-3904 , is currently seeking a base plus four option year for preventative maintenance and repair of Roche Ventana HE 600 automated stainer. The Contractor should provide all resources (labor, equipment, parts, software updates and services) necessary to accomplish full maintenance services on the Ventana HE600 automated stainer, serial number 6001072. The Pathology Dept is requesting annual full services to maintain and repair units to manufacturer specification but not limited to; All work shall be in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) standards. The contractor shall provide remedial service including all labor, travel and parts if required to repair any malfunction with any of the above listed units. Response for emergency repairs within 24 hours of request Monday through Friday local time. Two annual Preventative Maintenance service will be performed by FES. The HE 600 platform shall receive two (2) annual PM s. Unlimited on-site applications troubleshooting by a Contractor Field Applications Specialist (FAS). Five (5) days of applications support (i.e., protocol assistance, on-site operator training) by an FAS. The NAICS code is 811210 with a small business size standard of $34.0 Million.
