The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with one base year Heidelberg Engineering, Inc., 10 Forge Parkway, Franklin, Massachusetts, 02038 for the purpose of providing all parts, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to perform repair services on the Spectralis Optical Coherence Tomography System (OCT), SPEC-CAM-11808S2610. The procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, in Fayetteville, AR has a requirement for a contractor to provide repair services on the Spectralis Optical Coherence Tomography System (OCT) SPEC-CAM-11808S2610 located at the Texas City Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 9300 Emmett F Lowry Expressway, Texas City, TX 77591. Based on market research, and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that Heidelberg Engineering, Inc.is the only vendor capable of providing all the required repair services on the Spectralis Optical Coherence Tomography System (OCT) in accordance with original equipment manufacturer requirements. . This notice is being distributed solely through the General Services Administration's website at https://sam.gov. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
