The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the upcoming Regular Overhaul (ROH) on the YD-251. The type of work being performed is Dry Docking, hull, preservation of the underwater hull, freeboard and maindeck, along with miscellaneous repairs and preservation to tanks and voids. Vessel will require tow from Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, Ga. to contractors facility. Interested parties must have or be able to obtain a Master Ship Repair Agreement prior to contract award. The Government's market research is based on FAR Part 19 and the result of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
