NOTICE OF INTENT This is a notice of intent of The Louis Stokes Cleveland, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Network Contracting Office 10 intends to negotiate sole source with Varian Medical System, a large business, to provide Service Agreement for H140738, including: preventative maintenance services, technical phone support, remote access/diagnosis, maintenance and upgrade release, uptime guarantee, and all parts and labor under a fixed price agreement to ensure equipment operation in accordance with the manufacturer s specifications for the following equipment: CLINAC-IX SILHOUETTE - Essentials H140738 CBCT H072260 RPM H502054 RapidArc Delivery HRD4025 Millennium MLC H544170 PV 1000 H811212 OBI H082260 Treat H513266 The proposed period of performance shall be from March 9, 2018 thru March 8, 2021. The government believes that only one business can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) access to proprietary information. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by March 14, 2014. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government.  A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
