NASA/DFRC has a requirement for SODAR systems maintenance. Quantity one (1) Job.NASA/DFRC intends to purchase this maintenance from Atmospheric Systems Corporationbecause (1) Atmospheric Systems Corp (ASC) is the designer, builder and service providerof the SODAR system currently being used at Dryden. (2) the hardware and softwareprovided by ASC are proprietary to only ASC and ASC holds the patents on the system usedby Dryden. .The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and 13.Oral communications are NOT acceptable in response to this notice.
