The Philadelphia VA Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA, will be soliciting proposals to provide maintenance and repair services of the Varian Linear Accelerator Model Clinac IX. The awardee shall furnish all labor, parts, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide full maintenance, emergency service and periodic preventive maintenance inspections and repair of the linear accelerator equipment located at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104. Any resultant contract will be effective from date of award until Sept. 30, 2011. The planned issue date of the solicitation is approximately 05/23/2011. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the forthcoming solicitation.
