This office intends to issue a contract for repair of item 0001 Data Transfer Module (DTM) and item 0002 Data Transfer Receptacle (DTR). The National Stock Numbers are item 0001, 7045-01-448-0582JH (P/N: 172265-06-01) and item 0002, 7025-01-447-7825JH (P/N: 172672-06-01). Required quantities are 1-5 each for item both items. In addition to the basic year, 3 option years will also be solicited. Quality is in accordance with ISO 9001. Data requirements will include Government-Furnished Material (GFM) and End Item Transaction Reporting System (G009) as a part of the effort. Delivery is 30 days after receipt of order or repairable. The following note (22) is applicable to this acquisition. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note 26 is also applicable.
