NA It is our intent to award a contract on a sole source basis to Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, Inc., 1100 N. Plum, Hutchinson, KS 67501. The contract is for the restoration of the Redstone Rocket to original visual specifications for the time period of 1958 (test pattern). The rocket will be externally indistinguishable from a fully operational airworthy rocket. This acquisition is sole source based on Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center experience in restoring Redstone Rocket. All work accomplish ed in the restoration process will conform as closely as feasible, to original manufacturers specifications, styles and techniques. Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, Inc. has created a database with the correct specifications, original manufacturers bl ueprints, drawings and technical data through extensive research. Completion of work on the Redstone Rocket is no later than (three hundred and thirty ) 330 days from removal and pickup of the Redstone Rocket. Any interested parties must submit evidence of technical experience in restoring Redstone Rockets, must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award. Interested parties must provide evidence of having the correct specifications, orig inal manufacturers blueprints and drawings.
