The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply type contract to be set-aside for small businesses. This request is for rebabbiting bearing support in support of SRF & JRMC Detachment Sasebo, Japan. The service mentioned above will be in accordance with specifications that will be on the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to NECO on or about 11 February 2011. Delivery date is anticipated to be approximately 10-12 weeks after delivery of the bearings to the vendor. The item will be shipped FOB destination to Travis AFB, CA 94535. Inspection and acceptance is FOB destination. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, utilizing Best Value (BETA) procedures. The solicitation will be issued on or about 11 February 2011 with a closing date of about 25 February 2011. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract.
