NA Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed priced contract not later than December 23, 2002 to Legend Data Systems under FAR 6-302-1 for a follow-on maintenance service agreement for continued support of the Patient Imprinting System currently in place at Madigan. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. See Note 22
