This is sources sought to find potential businesses who can provide servicing for two Slide Processors at the Portland VA Medical center. The tasks requested are: 1. Background The Portland VA Medical Center (PVAMC) requires a full service maintenance contract to ensure that the BD Surepath PrepStain Slide Processor is kept in proper operating condition and ready for patient specimens. 2. Scope All work is to be performed on the BD Surepath PrepStain Slide Processor located at the Portland VA Medical Center. 3. Specific Tasks General Requirements: o Contractor must provide service engineers who have had factor OEM service training on this specific make/model of equipment with current certifications o Contract Service Hours to be: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday (PST), Except Observed Holidays o Next Day Emergency Service available as required by OEM Service Trained Engineer o Exchange Repair must be available on the BD PrepMate o Unlimited Toll Free Telephone Support and Web Self Service 24/7/365 o Preventive Maintenance and PM parts Included (1-2 per year depending on kit volume) o Software updates shall be provided for system enhancements at no charge o Labor and Travel Included. Extended hours - Additional fee o Parts included, consumables excluded. Shipping and handling charges for standard next day delivery of replacement parts that are covered under Warranty or Service Agreements will be at no additional charge to Customer.
