The Centralized Acquisition Service, VISN 6, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for the following preventive maintenance provided at W.G. "Bill" Hefner VAMC, 1601 Brenner Ave, Salisbury, NC 28144-2515: Service maintenance for the Medilas H20 Holmium Laser in the Operating Room for a base plus 4 one-year option periods. This full service includes: unlimited corrective maintenance, labor and travel expenses, main system replacement parts, two annual preventive maintenance calls, and software upgrades. Interested parties must submit capability information to provide the required services to Rob Betts, Contract Specialist, VA Medical Center, VISN 6/CAS (590/90C), Bldg 27, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667 or by email at [email protected] not later than 4:00pm local time on January 5, 2009. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with a sole source negotiation with Dornier Medtech America, Inc., the only known provider of this service.
