This proposed contract action is used for Pharmacy Department for Pharmacy 2000 Maintenance; Accumed Maintenance; and Pharmacy 2000 Workstation Maintenance, services, materials, and equipment necessary for the repair and maintenance of Parata equipments at Naval Medical Center San Diego. The Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The source is Parata Systems LLC. CAGE Code: 31EA6, NAICS: 811219. Justification: As required by FAR 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer has determined that Medtronic, Inc. device is the only company that distributes the supplies that is compatible with equipment currently used by NMCSD. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will only consider firm, fixed price quotations.
