The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) located in Boise, Idaho has a requirement for maintenance of an Octel Overture 250 Voice Processing System (VPS). BLM's VPS is configured with redundant 1 gbps hard drives, a tape back up unit, and two Mitic FLT (fax line termination) cards. The VPS is currently running revision Aria 03.11.05-1 software. This system is integrated with a Mitel SX2000SG Private Branch Exchange (PBX). The current PBX is a dual cabinet Mitel SX2000SG Main Control II system running MS2007-G-NA software, Version SX.T10.9.7, with digital and COV phone set capability. The Contractor shall provide a preventive maintenance service and regular and emergency repair service for a base period from October 1, 2003 to September 30, 2004 (FY2004) with options to renew this service for three additional one-year periods (fiscal years 2005, 2006, and 2007) pending price negotiations and availability of funds. Services shall include fault identification and correction of the fault by either repair or replacement of any anomaly that affects service. The Contractor's maintenance personnel shall hold current Octel certification for the Octel Overture 250 system for maintenance and system administration. This procurement is not restricted and NAICS 811213 applies. The small business size standard is $5.0 million. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used for award.
